Cancellation policy

  • A written notification of cancellation should be sent to the conference secretariat.
  • Cancellation made before February 23, 2011 will be charged a service fee of 50US$
  • Cancellation made two weeks prior to the conference will be charged a service fee of 100 US$
  • All refunds will be processed after the congress.

Language
English is the official language for the Conference. There will be no arrangements for translation. Indigenous language is Thai.


ABSTRACT SUBMISSION:

Guidelines

  • Scientific papers will be presented in the form of oral presentation, poster talking or poster presentation during the conference.
  • Poster talking is a section that the presenters present their posters to a group of participants who are interested in. The group leader will be assigned from the abstract review committee.
  • All submissions must conform to the format and presentation requirements outlined in this abstract submission guidelines.
  • All abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific program committee. Evaluation will stress the originality of the submission, the contribution, the clarity of exposition, and the adequacy of references to relevant international work.
  • Your selected abstract and full paper will have a chance to publish in the International Orem Society special 11th World Congress issue that will be published online following the conference.
  • Abstracts must be submitted electronically to www.iscc2010.com
  • No paper-based submission or communication will be accepted.
  • Abstracts must be typed in English, not more than 300 words.
  • The abstract text should include purposes, objectives, methods, results, conclusion, and keywords.
  • The deadline for submission is November 30, 2010. Authors whose submissions have been accepted for presentation will receive confirmation by 6 to 8 weeks subsequently and must register as a participant by December 31, 2010 or else the abstract will be withdrawn from the program.

    Abstract preparation

    • The title should be concise and indicate clearly the nature of the study, should be in lower-case letters, the first letter of each word can be in capital letter if preferred. I.E.: "The Title Can Be Like This" or "The title can be like this"

    • Abstract title and list of authors is automatically generated through registration of the abstract, please do not include this information in the abstract text.

    • Abstract text - limited to 310 words (fewer if a figure is included in the abstract)
    Please note a reference list is not to be included in the abstract

    We recommend using word-processing software (for example Word) for editing your abstract and counting the number of words. Then when finished just paste it into the appropriate box "Abstract". Typing your text directly into the field is not recommended.

    When preparing your abstract in Word please use the following html codes to make your text bold, italic, underlined, superscript or subscript

    • Figures, tables or graphs which you wish to include in the abstract should be image files. Images should be submitted in JPG/BMP/JPEG/GIF or PNG format.
    Maximum width 13cm, height 18cm and resolution up to 150dpi. The file can not be bigger than 1Mb.

    • The contents of the abstract should state briefly and clearly the purpose, methods, results, and conclusion of the study.

    Purpose: Clearly state the purpose of the abstract
    Methods: Describe research design, sample, data collection, and data analysis clearly
    and briefly
    Results: Presents the study findings in a logical sequence in text
    Conclusion: Emphasize new and important aspects of the study and conclusion that are
    drawn from them including the contributions of the study

    If your presentation is a Power Point show, please do not bring your own computer for the presentation. LCD projector and a computer will be provided. To ensure the success of your presentation remember to bring it on a CD or USB.

    If you need other technicality than LCD projector please send an e-mail to info@iscc2010.com stating the name of the conference and the number of your abstract. This need not to be done until after you have received notification if your abstract is accepted.

• Rooms have already been reserved at the Emerald hotels which is the hotel of the conference Venue. Note that special prices have been given which are lower than those advertised on the hotel websites
